GO DEEPER WITH JESUS

To be a disciple of someone means to follow someone. The Discipleship Ministry at Harvest exists to equip you to follow Jesus in a more intimate way. There are multiple ways to grow as a follower of Jesus and the Discipleship Ministry seeks to accomplish this through different classroom options, conferences, and midweek Bible studies. All of these offerings are in hopes to equip the follower of Jesus in greater biblical and theological literacy.

HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE

The "How to Study the Bible" Discipleship Class is an 8 week class to equip believers in the fundamentals of Bible reading, study, and application. How should I be reading my Bible? Are there certain methods of study I should focus on? What about the different genres of Scripture? How do I find the real meaning of a passage? All of these questions and more will be answered in this class as we seek to be more faithful Bible readers in our lives. This class will be taught by Pastor Conner McMakin.

AUTHENTIC FAITH: THE BOOK OF JAMES

"Authentic Faith in the Book of James" is an 8 week discipleship class walking through one of the more popular books in the New Testament. The letter of James is filled with powerful yet practical lessons for living in wisdom, obedience, and authentic faith in an increasingly inauthentic world. Join us as we seek to be more faithful "doers of the Word." This class will be taught by Pastor Chris and Carolyn Moeller.

FAQ

Will the classes provide child care? 

Childcare may or may not be available depending on the season when the class is being offered. Check the registration page for the specific class to see childcare availability

How long will the classes be? 

They will meet on a weekly basis for about an hour and a half and last anywhere from 5-8 weeks. Schedules will be posted per class. 

Will the classes cost anything? 

Depending on the class, there will be a fee to cover books and material as well as buy-in for the student to complete the class and receive a completion certificate. 

Will there be homework in the classes?

Yes. Homework will be given and the expectation is that it will be completed and discussed at each class.
