TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF PRAYER
April 18-19 | 5:00PM-5:00PM | GH Campus
As we prepare our hearts for Easter, between the sorrow of Good Friday and the celebration of Resurrection Sunday, we find ourselves in the stillness of Holy Saturday—a day of waiting, watching, and trusting in the unseen, unfinished work of God while Christ remained in the grave.
As a church family, we invite you into this moment of anticipation by committing time and space to prayer. The event will begin at 5:00pm on Friday, April 18th in the Student Room where we will continue in prayer through the night and into Saturday, staying watchful in the waiting—until we gather again in worship for Easter. Please sign up for a 30-minute prayer slot at the Grand Haven Campus in the Student Room.
Whether you come alone, with family, or with your small group, a space will be prepared with creative expressions of prayer, for you to seek the Lord through in the tension of the experience on Friday and the expectation for Sunday.
"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." -Lamentations 3:25-26
On Holy Saturday, we wait in expectancy for the resurrection, praying for God’s saving work—that hearts will turn to Him, lives will be transformed, and many will be raised to new life. With adoration, confession, and thanksgiving, we will intercede for our community, asking for enduring grace and Spirit-filled fruitfulness in the days ahead.
