Wear & Share is a community clothing giveaway event that takes place twice a year. Whether you are looking to get rid of some of your gently used clothes, or if you are in need of some, this is for you!
COLLECTION:
We will be collecting gently used clothes of all sizes for this event and donations can be dropped off in the trailer outside of the Grand Haven campus anytime from September 18 - October 8.
SORTING:
We will be sorting all the collected clothes from Tuesday, October 10- Thursday, October 12. Volunteers that want to help sort during the week leading up to the event need to email lisa@harvestspringlake.org to sign up, letting me know when they are able to help. No need to commit to the entire day(s), partial days welcomed! The Sorting days and times are:
Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am until 3pm
Wednesday evening from 6-8pm (small groups welcome!!)
Thursday, if needed, from noon to 3pm.
EVENT:
We will host our Wear & Share Event on October 14 from 8am-12pm at the Grand Haven Campus where those in our community can come and take whatever clothes they may need, all completely free!
