 The Basics - What You Need to Know!

 
 

Two Most Important Things about Registration

  • If you do not receive a confirmation email, you are NOT registered. Please ask for help.

  • Do not delete your confirmation email. It contains important dates and information.

 
 

Age Descriptions and Requirements

  • Pre-K Campers: Preschool campers are four (by June 1st and potty-trained) to 5 years old (entering Kindergarten in the fall). A child is considered potty-trained when they can use the restroom independently.

  • Grade School Campers: Grade School Campers are children who have completed Kindergarten - 5th grade. Grade School campers register by the grade they will complete at the end of the current school year..

  • Junior Volunteers: Students who have completed 6th - 8th grade, no volunteer discount.

  • Adult Volunteers: Students completing 9th grade - adults, receive a volunteer discount for their child(ren).

  • Volunteer Childcare: Volunteer childcare is free and open to children three years old and younger whose parents or guardians are volunteering for Vertical Adventures.

Schedule

  • Check In at 9:15am

  • Camp is from 9:30am - 3:00pm

  • Pick Up is at 3:00pm


Cost

  • Campers: $75 per camper before April 15 and $85 per camper after April 15

  • Volunteer Discount: $10 off per registration fee. If you volunteer at Vertical Adventures you will receive this discount for your children.


Lunch

  • Campers must bring their own lunch packed in a clear zip-top bag with first and last name clearly marked.

  • Water is served all the time. No milk, pop or juice is offered at camp.

  • Allergy information should be noted at registration and check in if your child needs to eat in an allergy protected area.


Steps to Register

  • Registration opens March 18th at 9am. Registration closes on May 13th.

  • Grade School Campers choose two electives: one for the morning and one for the afternoon.

  • In order to receive a volunteer discount, you need to register yourself to serve first. You will receive a discount code in your email to use when you register your camper(s).

  • If you have a friend/sibling request, you must register your child for the same elective(s) at the same time as their friend’s registration (morning and afternoon).


Discounts

  • Early Bird registration is $10 off per registration. Early Bird discount ends April 15.

  • If you serve at Vertical Adventures, you receive a discount for your children. Discounts are $10 off registration price per child.

  • The volunteer discount is based on 3-full days of serving.

  • You need to register yourself to serve first. You will then receive a discount code in your email to use when registering your camper.

  • Junior Volunteers (completed 6th - 8th grade) are not eligible to receive the discount for other children in your family.

Change & Cancellation Policy

  • We understand that kids change their minds and want them to have the best experience. We will do what we can to accommodate changes, but due to numbers we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet those requests. You may request a change to your child’s registration by May 13th, at no charge. After May 13th there is a $25 charge.

  • You can cancel your registration by May 13th for a full refund. After May 13th, you will receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee.

  • Change or cancellation requests can be emailed to verticaladventures@harvestspringlake.org.


Special Needs

  • At Vertical Adventures, our desire is to make every camper’s experience the best that it can be. If your child would benefit from additional support during the day, please provide details when you register.

  • After you register, you will be contacted by Harvest Kids staff to know how we can best meet your child’s needs.
